dude... my man utd team got high the possession, got lot of shot on target, but my team can
't score more than 3 goal in the past 20 games. even i play against QPR i only score 1 goal in the very last minute.

i played 4-4-2 with "Rigid" n "Control" style, Zonal Marking, Drill Crosses and the other all set default.

Valencia(Winger) Carrick(Deep Lying Play Maker) V. D. Vaart(Ball Winning Mid) Nani(Winger)

Berbatov(Deep Lying Forward) Rooney(Advanced forward)

change ur formation to having 4 across the back 2 centre mids then attacking mids right and left then 2 strikers (: then change the mentality to attacking and be fluid ... you will stay tight at the back but score lots (: also replace berbatov and try to find a fast striker instead of him ... whats your budget ??
 
Dude... Rigid and 442 means you will hardly have 2-3 players in the box to score. That rarely works.

Change it to fluid.

also Carrick(Deep Lying Play Maker) V. D. Vaart(Ball Winning Mid) ... you need to change this.
van der vaart is more creative. So just dont use him to run around and win the ball.

IMO.. make it 2-1-3-4 with VDV as AMC and Carric as MC.
 
Van Der Vaart suit wat kind of role? Attacking Mid(support)? carrick play very well in deep lying midfield

do u guy think rooney can play as "poacher"
 
its perfectly possible to play rigid, but you need more creative freedom. rooney can be a poacher, but its a watse of his talent remeber he is quick very strong and creative. i play him as a complete forward but i lower his crossing

VDV should be advanced playmaker if you are playing 2 ppl upfront.

If u are playing only rooney upfront then VDV should be Trequartista.
 
rooney ( deep lying forward ) + owen ( advanced forward ) does this pair work well?
 
quite decent lol. but i would prefer rooney as a complete forward as it puts his pace to good use as well. owen would make a pretty decent advanced forward/poacher though :)

one more thing, my winger their cross always block my the opponent or they always come very deep to cross, how to set them cross early?

in their setting set them to cross from deep
 
**** the fact that you can't score, how can you not spell 'Hello' right?

halo! i thought you said you couldn't score :s
if you're desperate use the 10.3 patch corner trick. someone else can post it because i cba. just use rooney to lurk outside the area.
 
Don't use rigid tactics, that never works...fluid is way better...if your not getting goals then just put it on attacking, or overload if your really desperate..and yeah, do the corner thing..just search corner trick or something, there's like 10 threads on it...gets me like a goal a game from corners
