Its season 2015/2016 and I have managed to get Morcambe from Coca cola L2 to the PL. Im using a really good tactic provided by Gooner on the tactic forums and it was more than good for me. after reahcing L1 I dropped back to L2 on my 2nd season then after using Gooner's tactic i sliced through to the PL one seasoning every division but none were 1st league position. L1 was after a play off session and championship was 2nd place. sent all my scouts out and baught a bunch of new youngsters that turned out to be wounder kids, at least 3 of them. I have great results against big teams, infact I beat Man U 5-2 in a home game on my 1st season in PL and won the FA cup and positioned at 8th. I recieve alot of goals because of having young defenders 21 and 20 in the center back and 21 on the LB. My problem with this tactic is that am loosing games that I am fevored to win and easy home games. Am not sure what the problem, could it be the team talk or my staff, or is it just the players. Im trying not to be too tuough on them as they are young and its our 2nd season in the PL now. What could be the best way to get them going on easy home games? just use the "I expect a win" team talk?

each player responds differntly so sometimes giving confident ones a wakeup call before a match is good, but others may not respond. try giving individual talks to see

The tactic is probably too attacking for teams who are parking the bus and they're defending well and catching you on the break. Have a look at the tactic and see if you can find a way to make it a little more patient (eg read the section on 'control' tactics in TT&F documents).

you try should and get fast strikers and set a defensive mentality and counter attack setting on;)

Am going to try that as soon as I get back on the game. Thanks for the replays. Will post an update of what I have done.

maybe teams are getting used to the way you play try tweak your tactics a little bit.

If you're finding it hard against weaker teams then you may have to gamble a bit. Increase the width of your team and give your fullbacks greater attacking responsibility (higher mentality, cross always from byline etc). That should help stretch the opposition to create goals. You may leak a few in return though, but if you can get one up then they have to come out to play and you can go back to normal tactics and slaughter them.

Very impressive achievement, just change one part of the tactic until you succeed or devise a new one for weaker teams, but this may cause an upset in performances. Just tweak one thing at a time until you hit the jackpot.

I'm interested in this "control" tactic too.

I have had on the whole a fantastic season. I have got good results against the Sky 4 and have been beating the teams around me in mid table.

Unfortuantely, my chances of European qualification have been ruined by relegation fodder. I have dropped 12 points to 2 teams that were cut adrift at the foot of the Premiership very early in the season. If I'd have took those points like I should have done, I'd have qualified for Europe :(
