El Sharawy plays as inside forward+roam from position and dribble more and he plays terribly, what instructions should I give him?

First things first, you want to control the match going by the mentality. Use lower tempo. In order to control, stamina and fitness are important. When you play with higher tempo, players tend to struggle for fitness. Using a lower tempo, they pass to each other and they make the opponents chase, which is key to any possession tactic really.

El Sharaawy or rather both the IFs can be changed to support and the instructions can to be to dribble more, shoot less often.
They should only support since the TM should be the focal point of any attack. That's why the bloke is a "Target man".

Check my tactic below if you need a good possession tactic.

Thanks mate. I also gave El Sharawy cross aim target man

So I'll change the higher tempo to lower.anything else I can improve?

And are the any special player instructions to give to other players beside El Sharawy?

Koke and Kaka can play more direct passes as they are the ones who should be creative forces in the tactic. Even though Montolivo is a good passer, the BWM should be a player who should do the dirty work and give the ball to Koke once he wins it. So try buying a player with good defense stats for that role. I would like to point out that I never have consistent performances with two CM's in a 4-2-3-1. This is why I have 2 DMs. It offers defensive solidity. One DM will win the ball and the other DM will be a playmaker who can initiate attacks but also defends when called upon.

I have Poli and De Jong for the dirty work role, should I place one of them as a DM instead a CM and let the play as a Anchor/BWM?

And is there anything else I can improve in the players roles or the team instructions?

*thanks for your help by the way, really appreciate it :)

I'm not sure about one DM and one CM, mate. Koke can play at DM position as a DLP along with De Jong as the Anchor or BWM. It wouldn't be a problem. But test with 2 CMs as it is. It might work out for all I know. The defensive pair seem amazing. Big Papa and Balanta have extraordinary potential.

So I'll try it with 2 CMs as koke/Montolivo
play as DPL and Poli/De Jong play as BWM in games where I can play more attacking style, and with 2 DMs in games where I need a more defensive approach

And what about the team instructions, are they ok?,and the other players role?

Use an offside trap too, mate. Its good for a higher defensive line. Otherwise, I find the instructions good for a possession game with good pressing. Let me know how the results are. Cheers!
