Has anyone caused a massive upset ?

Hi all ,

just wondering has anyone ever been a lower league team and beat a team like Man Utd in the FA or Carling Cup ?

I was shocked to beat Man U. 4-0 in Carling. I expected to get pummeled.
 
When in League 2 held Chelsea to a 0-0 in FA Cup at Stamford Bridge. Was a very happy manager. Unfortunately got hammered 7-1 in replay. Not so happy. Got nice revenue though
 
I beat Manchester United with Walsall in the FA Cup 5-3. They played reserves and youths but they should have still beaten us!! We got Arsenal in the next round and they put out a full strength side and beat us 3-0 :(
 
Beat Chelsea with Sheffield united 3-2. It wasn't their full team but they still had some good players playing like Lampard.
 
In my 4th game as the manager of Millwall Football Club, I managed to beat Stoke City 3-1 at the Den!
The highlight of the game being a superb hattrick from Leigh Griffiths ;)
One of the seasons best magic cup moments :)
 
Managing Spurs last season I beat Man United 5-1 in the Cup. I've not changed the team much, so I wasn't like I bought in Tevez, Dzeko and a whole host of world class players. And I've not had the best record against United. So I consider this a one off upset because of the scoreline.
 
Not really a Lower League team but I was managing Sporting CP and qualified for the ECC in my first season.. Got Lyon in the playoff game in order to qualify for the group stages (#1 in europe at the time).. drew 0 - 0 at home then thrashed them 5 - 0 at their ground. (also lost the league by 1 point to Benfica, was 2 points in front until the last day, I lost and they won :(
 
After being in 16th place in my first season in the prem with Peterborough after i think it was about 10 games i beat Arsenal 4-0 and it basically turned my season around and i am now sitting 7th in the league. Although havent pulled off any real big upsets just some good performances against top teams although not often getting points the performance deserved
 
With bolton first season got to the fa cup final in which i played man utd and won 7-1 was quite proud of that lol.
 
Im playing as Stockport County and i got promoted to league 1 in my first season and then in the second season i beat Manchester United 5-4 on penalties but normal playing time was 1-1, this was the FA Cup 3rd round, they played a full squad of Reserves/Youth.
 
On my Swansea save in first season i knocked out Man U 2-0 in 3rd round of fa cup then West ham 1-0 both at home then lost to Scunthorpe lol. Was sitting 3rd before loss to Scunny, after the loss i went on a dreadful run and finished 8th! Next season i went out of both cups at first stage and walked the league! :) happy days!
 
I beat Juventus with Pomezia(C1/A in the time) in the Italian Cup. The club's reputation must've doubled that day.
 
I always beat Bayern Munich for some reason :) just beat Dortmund 4-0 last night.. (dont have screenshots on me) as you can see I beat Real Madrid :)

i beat arsenal in the 4th round of FA Cup with southampton 3-1 :D

they played a weaker team but it was still lower prem standard at least
 
Was Basingstoke and I beat Leeds at Elland Road with my only shot on target all game. :D
 
I knocked Aston Villa out in the F.A Cup 4th round in FM10. It was 1-1 and with 5 minutes to go the ball fell to my RW who drilled the ball along the ground to the feet of Yaya Sanogo. Back of the net!
 
On one of my many saves as Newcastle I played Man City in the league and thrashed them 5-2. Then I had them in the cup the next game and got beat 2-1. :(
 
Well, FA Cup Third Round as Wolves, lost 4-0 painfully to Gainsborough Trinity. I will never pick U18's in the FA Cup

Both pre season but still nice to win :)
