A defensive masterclass against a team you were expected to lose to? A performance so defensive and inch perfect that you've managed to restrict opponents to 0 shots and 0 clearcut chances. A complete shutout worthy to be referred to as ''Parking the Airbus'' - Similar to Inter's second leg performance against Barca at the Nou Camp?

Has anyone pulled this off?

Or Barcas performance against arsenal a couple of weeks ago.

nah ive never managed it, tried it agenst real madrid, went in to 2nd leg 3-1 up lost 5-0 in spain lol

Personally I've attempted do that once with Porto - a European group stage encounter against Barca. They had one clear cut chance which hit that side netting and 21 shots 18 of them blocked and 3 long range. At the 85th minute mark Messi scored 2 long range shots. Was ****** lol

I've been so close a couple of times when I was Inter, let through 1, maybe 2 CCC's but I'm getting close to a perfect win.

I've learnt that attack is the best form of defence, played Chelsea in Carling Cup as Peterborough and by trying to control the game, I ended up winning 3-1.

I can safely say I have done this with Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid.

Reina
Johnson Skrtel Agger Robinson
Kuyt Lucas Palombo Poulsen Cole

It worked.. 0-0 shut out, with them having 72% possession and 31 shots, 3 on target.

I was winning 2-0 from the Away leg and deciding to experiment. I

(I also wanted to rest some players)

I have spain in a world cup qualifier in a minute, will attempt to shut them out... with Belgium :O

England v San Marino. Easy.

Oh you said a team I expected to lose against ;)

With AFC Wimbledon I managed to hold out against Chelsea. Didn't restrict them though, they had about 20 odd shots to my 1. Managed a 0-0 though.

I managed to restrict AC Milan to only 1 shot on target, from about 30 yards, when playing as Lazio, but that's about the best i've done really.

I managed to once, as Palace against Stoke. Then again, I did have the awesomeness that was Nick Montgomery as a DM.

Yes i managed this with Crawley against Man City at Their place in the League Cup and it was all their big hitters too. 0.0 played 5 at back very deep defensive line and as ultra defensive as you can get and counter attacked nearly snatching it late on.(A)

Nah never managed that, it's even better though when you're clear underdog and they have about 20 chances but your defenders are just blocking every shot, hoofing it away and getting a 0-0. I quite like those 'backs to the wall' matches!

In my first season with Barça I was able to knock Manu out in the semi finals with 6-0 in the first leg. They didn't get any chances to score. I was really impressed by this match
