Has anyone played with out real players???

Bit of a random question so please if this is on the wrong place move it to where it needs to be.

I was thinking of starting a new save and deselecting the use real players square.

Has anyone else played a game like this and if so was it basically the same players at the same teams with the same stats etc and just different names or was it more a database filled with regens and random stats etc?

It basically makes generated players take the place of the real ones with identical stats. Fairly sure that they all stay at the same teams too.

Not necessarily the same players with identical stats, but it does put a Messi quality player in his spot. So teams like United, Barca, Real, Chelsea, City, will all have class players still.
