I've already posted comments/questions 4 times regarding the tactics set JP Woody designed with Sheffield Wednesday, but have yet to receive any kind of reply or help.

I started my own career with them and am using the same tactics. We're doing well I guess, currently sitting 3rd in the Championship, however, I was 1st only a couple weeks ago, then losses started to roll in (3 in a row) and I don't understand why. Looking at JP's results, he's lost only twice the entire season, but I already have 7 loses by the middle of the season. My team is essentially the same as his. Like him, I did not sell many of the original players in order to avoid gelling problems, but I can't explain the slump I'm in now.

So here are my questions:

1. There are 4 tactics in the set. From my understanding and from JP's written explanations, the tactics are used as is, without making additional tweaks. Is my understanding correct on this?

2. If I'm playing away and the odds are close, do I always start with Standard tactic in this case?

3. Based on my second question: If my team concedes early in an away match using the Standard tactic, is it advisable to switch to the Attack tactic or should I simply keep playing with Standard?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

thing is I play a 5 5 benitez style tactic, so actually it is like an all out attack but with always three players on defensive duties, a cm and two CB but you must have real quality in those positions, and I don't think you have.
On the other side, my maths may be simplistic but let's say you play standart, if you conceide first pretty much all you have done is wastign time since now you have to attack, right?
And a very defensive tactic may result in you scoring the odd goal, but like irl the opponents who have a real cool team with loads of players above yours will eventually score one or two goals.
So basically, I play atatck all the time, with Madrid its easy but I do that too with AFC Telford and things go well too. What you can do is even keeping the same atatck tactic, just put two defnsive minded midfielders who will add a lot of weight to the middle.

I'm not really sure if I can use your advice since you're talking about a different tactic all together. Are you familiar with the tactics set I'm referring too?

Dirty ACE,the tactic sets are all made for specific games depending on whether you are favorites or not.Away games i usually would start with defensive.Home games standard or control, change your formation set depending on how the game is going. As for signings i don't recommend any particular player,i always try to get players with good technique as a necessity and it works well for me.
TBH im not using these tactics anymore,im using my new Brian Clough tactics to great effect, they are much simpler to use too as there is only one tactic for both home and away.
