Does it add to to the young squad, as it would in real life? Or not? I manage Inter and got rid of all of the old players, almost all of my players are under 25, with the exception of Samir Handanovic. Now I've bought Xabi Alonso. Will he add anything in terms of experience to the squad, or it doesn't matter in this game?

Yes i feel it matters, tutoring for player development, cup finals etc

I try to have some older players for tutoring as they can help future young players develop.

no unfortunately it doesn't , unless if you want to have a young players with a good personality
because tutoring affect only personality and PPM if you choose so
but it won't affect players mental attribute

You can't win anything with kids

I've won titles with an average age of 22 and no-one over 30 so it is possible. That said it might be different for me as I'm not normally in leagues of the same quality.
