Hello.

I've always want to manage a club on FM11 and them build a stadium why I am doing so. I was wondering what factors contribute to this. I know obviously filling the stadium on a regular basis etc.. but would things such as..

- When the stadium was built
- Extension Capacity
- What the facilities of the stadium are like
- Pitch deterioration
- State
- Decay?

I was really wondering as I'd love the prospect of playing and asking for a new stadium and having it approved to build.

Thanks
-Matt

I think the main reasons are if you're successful, have good finances and are constantly filling your current stadium

I've only managed to have a new stadium built once in FM11 so far, took a Champions League win and about £130m in the bank for them to do it. And that was starting from a 5,000 capacity, decaying stadium which they'd continually refused to touch up until my fifth season. So, it takes a lot, especially if your ground's anywhere near decent when you ask.

Not sure if it's a good idea. There seems to be some sort of bug where the development freezes during the planning stages. It's happened to me, and I've heard other members mention it.

Doesn't mean anything but for what it's worth mine was completed just fine - with the only disappointment being that they didn't name it after me, ungrateful bastards.

You've pretty much answered your own question.
Also you need some money in your bank account.
