Hello guys, this is my first thread in this forum. Since i am a fan of being a manager of a football team, i've decided in 2012 to look for more complex games than the FIFA 14 Career Mode. I've took a look on FM and i was kinda amazed by it's complexity. The problem is, when i've got the game, in the 3 past editions, i was loving the game, but my team never seemed to play good ! I've got tactics from the internet and was trying a lot to let my team be good (I am Liverpool), but in the end, i end up being trashed or not winning easy games. Can anyone help me and give me some instructions on how could i be a good manager in this game ? Also if poosible, can you give some transfer strategies and tips ? Thanks a lot for whoever will answer :) (Sorry if my english isn't good enough)

Well welcome to fm base for one but two the best tactics are the ones made by yourself you get that self pride that its your tactic that won CL BPL CoC and FA cup all in one season.

But for tactic help if you look at the new team instructions there are no sliders of course, but there are now instructions these instructions are very important the way I look at them is my players are a bunch of 4 year old kids learning the game. The way i tell them a new way of playing is showing them were to stand and for example if i want them to play a counter Attacking style of football I'd tell them to "drop deeper" and play at a "higher tempo" what you need to think is the players know how to play the counter but they don't understand that its better to drop deeper and play at a higher tempo its your job to tell them.

For what Positions to play first season its kinda hard to dictate a new tactic you are sometimes stuck with the players for have (with Liverpool I'm sure you can sell and buy new ones but still) to make a tactic around those players so say you have Raheem Sterling he is a pure winger (not saying he's the best choice for first season just an example) and if say you had a tom Ince playing with him I'd be favoured to play a tactic with inside forwards. What you need to look at is where are they best at what you personally think can get your strikers the ball.
