HELLO.....Please help me :-(

Hello I have just joined this thread and I need help, I have been playing champ/FM for years, whilst I have never been amazing at it ive never struggled like i do on fm11. It seens no matter who I am or what I do I just seem to struggle, in the last couple of weeks I have started games with first dundee united, then masfield then sheff wed and the same thing always seems to be happening, drawing and losing most of my games, struggling to score. I even managed to sign darius vassell with wednesday and I still fail to score goals. I try being defensive, attacking, playing the counter attack, 4-4-2, 4-5-1 (with attacking wingers). Hopeully you get the picture

Its very frustrating, because I love football manager especially when the footy season is not on as it carrys me through the summer months but at the minute I am having no look and just struggling :-(. Am I missing something?

Any help or suggestions for tactics/strategy will be much appreciated

Well, my general tips would be

1) the standard tactics suck
2) when creating your own tactics, pay attention to player roles and make sure your players have the necessary attributes for the roles you assign to them
3) check the tactics forum here, there are loads of tactics to download and try
