Help a noob!!

Hi i recently bought fm2012 and i am having trouble with the squad registration,

I am Braga in the Portuguese premier and i am trying to register my team for the eurocup and i need 4 players that have trained with my club for 3 years between 15 and 21 years of age. I only have 3 players that fit this category in my senior squad. I tried getting players from my reserve team and registering them with my senior squad however this didn't seem to work, it just says ineligible. So can someone please tell me the way around this as it is extreamely frustrating as i cant progress until it is sorted.

Leave a gap? ie. pick your 3 players and a total squad of 20 instead or 21.

Failing that, you can holiday that day and have your ***. amn pick the euro squad.

What you might be doing is going on the senior squad then on the filter selecting for the reserve squad to be shown as well?
If so, i think you have to click on the actual player than you want to register from the reserve squad and move him to the senior squad
