HELP!! Contract running out, need to stay at club :(

Hi,
My first time posting here, Im playing with athletico madrid I just finished my 3rd season.

1st season - won la liga, spanish cup, europa league,
2nd season - won nothing :(
3rd season - won champions league :) and spanish cup

.....but now its june 1st and i saved the game and my contract runs out june 30th and they offered me a new contract before but I told them to delay until end of season now but what do I do now cuz when I just press continue I have no club but i want to stay and I asked the board for a new contract and they said yes they will be offering me one soon but when i press continue they dont offer it to me :( please what do i do I worked so hard and built a solid young team with athletico madrid and i worked hard and now im leaving the club when i dont want to :(

Someone help? :(
 
Your buggered! I'm not entirely sure that there is anything you can do, have you tried a RTE?
 
Real time editor. Useful tool/cheat but hard to leave alone when your not doing so well :) check it out in the downloads
 
i just downloaded it but when i opened it it says it doesnt work with my game version :(and then theres a list of what versions it supports.

So is there a way of changing my game version? anyone know?
 
They don't offer the contract straight away, it might take a few days or even a couple weeks.
 
yeah i know but i waited from when i saved the game (1st june) and it ends 30th june and waited but they never offered and then it just says i left the club and i built my team with kids and won the champions league, now am i screwed? i been playing fm since 2003/04 when i used to rinse roncatto and pwn teams, im a loyal long time player and this shouldnt happen :(

Im thinking about phoning sports interactive and asking what has happened, i got so many stories of this game and i wanna blog them on here too but first i wanna sort this out first
 
Happened to me before aswell. though I did end up going back to the club after a few seasons. not sure if its a bug or not
 
I think I may be having the same situation in my 2010 game. I refused the contract earlier, now that I'm in February the media speculates constantly about who will replace me, even though I'm in 1st place when the media picked me 8th...
 
Genuinely feel sorry for you. I've never seen anything like this before, maybe add a new manager? I know you're sacrificing what you've won but at least you get to continue :)

I'm playing a save right now where I refuse to sign an extension to any contract, usually 2 years and if I have a plan to do more then I will request a longer contract at the start. Once it ends I move on. Simple
 
If you got the editor working you'd be fine ;) are you still trying to save this save?
