Hi guys, I bought FM2010 recently and decided to lead Spurs to Champions League, but I got a problem, a big one.
I am 3rd, at just 3 points under Chelsea, who is 1st, but I am losing easy matches. My defence is absolutely dirty, we always get 3-4 goals on match, this is frustrating. And my Strikers are scoring hard, missing many chances.
What to do?
I signed Veloso and van Nistelrooy, but none of my strikers, excluding Defoe, are scoring constantly.
Thanks!

just see the tactics dont get your team too forward play control game and dont play offside trap better.. have a box to box midfielder maybe a ball winning mid too..

palacios is good for box to box- as suport, nistelrooy as poacher attack ,and crouch target man support...they will score....
put modric on attack inside forward, your DR and Dl on automatic....

Sounds like you need to give your team more shape to give you balance. Im currently managing Liverpool and although im having trouble with my players consistently fouling i have got the best defensive record in the league. I also score enough goals to win most easier games without too much trouble. I find it easier to use the slider bars to get the best tactics rather than using the new philosophy tactics. If you are using the slider bars try using these mentalitys for each player

GK 9
DC 10
DL/R 11
DM 12
ML/R 13
AM 14
DFWD 13
ATFWD 15

I find it gives you a good balance and so far a rok solid defence. Also in away games i tend to drop deeper and also play narrower and counter attack

is your morale low ?, or maybe your team is ust complacent against weak teams ?

Use the team talkjs to motivste players like against rival teams say for the fans

Facepalm worthy? :S

Don't bring back old threads mate, I'm sure this save doesn't even exist anymore.
