Help. Kits not showing up after trying to edit ingame color

I was updating my clubs kits (Real Sociedad) to the 22/23 season, their 2nd kit isn't red this year so using the IGE I tried editing the color so it would match the new 22/23 season kits I was uploading. After doing so I cannot for the life of me get the uploaded kits to show, it's just the gross default ingame kits. I've tried reloading to a save before I used the IGE, delete cache and reload, unchecked use licensed kits and re-enabled, and it just won't work. Any fix? as I'm several years into the save and really don't want to restart just for this.

I've changed kits for my French league 2 team using the in-game editor, the home kit appears in match as it should but the away kit with a different color and pattern don't. When I play games away, my team plays with the home kit.

I downloaded a kit pack before, but uninstalled it, and I tried to reload skins after changing the kits but nothing works.
