Calling all managers. Desperation has set in. As a Preston fan, naturally, I am always Preston manager when it comes to Football Manager - and generally have always done a reasonable job ie. promotion to the Premiership at some point during my tenure. However on FM2011 the job seems impossible. An appauling Championship team combined with a limited 120k transfer budget has made the job nion impossible. Tactically i've tried everything, defensive, attacking, counter, standard. Every formation you could think of including 10-0-0 (yes im desperate). Any kind of help or advice would be welcomed gratefully.
