HELP!! Need some tactics

I have just recently decided to challenge myself and have started a game as hereford in the npower league 2. So far i just cant seem to get it right and i am not doing very well, does anybody have any ideas of tactics that may help me get better results and higher up league 2??

I recently started a career with Oxford and won the league in my first season, this was because of the 4-1-2-1-2 formation, My shouts were Pass to feet, Stay on feet, Play out of defence, Retain possession, Play through defence and exploit the middle. These should work also try and look for players on a free and loans e.g. Jamil Adam, Jamie Devit, Josh Wright, Jack Sampson (on loan). If that formation doesn't work try a 4-2-2-2 or 4-3-3
