HELP PLEASE...installation issue.

I recently had Windows Vista (premium) reinstalled onto my laptop. I cannot reinstall fm 2011. I am getting the message:

"The installation of Football Manager 2011 is finished, but some errors occurred during the install. Please see the installation log for details".

I keep reading online that the game will run from the folder in which it is saved, but there is no launch game icon anywhere in the sports interactive folder.

Is it downloaded from Steam or dvd?

There are 2 Sports Interactive folders.

By default, one is in your C drive, the other is in my documents.

Should check in them both. As mentioned, there's two folders

I can only see the file in the C drive. Cannot figure it out at all.
