Help.. Sad and angry

First, sorry for my bad English I am from Serbia.. I play manager since 1999, and this last two games ruined all. Nothing works, nothing, nothing! I tried 10000000 tactic's, bad-good clubs, nothing! In past games, i managed to win Champions League with Porto, Ajax, Hsv, Catania, Fiorentina, so i know how to play and this is my favourite game, but now... i want to punch in the face cretors of this beautiful series.. which sadly ended 2012. I play with Roma now, buy Honda, nice team, first game home against livorno.. I did not have single attack but AMAZING GREAT GRANDE LIVORNO play tika taka, both wingers are Usain Bolt, and their striker is Maradona. No matter what i do, i allways lose, even friendly cup i lose for third place. No f****** sence.. You can go on street, pick 11 drunk teenagers, put them on the field, just say kids go and play footbal and they will have at least one good chanse against livorno.

Again, sorry for bad English, i am wondering can someone give me e-mail or something on which i can write to creators and be sure that they read my mail? I want to congratulate them for ruining my favourite game. I am so sad and angry.. I remember that Ronaldo worth 12m. in '99, in barcelona youth team was Simao, Babangida, Reina, and many more memories, that is the proof how much i love this game.

Ahahahahha. Brilliant.

All I can say is to be simple on the game. Last year I gave too many specific instructions to my players and it just creates a mess. Be basic, play players in suitable roles. Also don't go too attacking. I find short narrow play works well on here. Find a 4-4-2 formation or similar that works for your team :)
 
hhehe friend, this is exactly what i try to say. You say narrow and short work here, before my post i read allmost same post like mine, he is complaining too, he said that wide and direct only work in this fm :D i will try now simple formation.. my problem here is, i can't write on english what is on my mind xD

I understand what you are saying don't worry. Try this -

-------Goal Keeper-------

RB------ Cd-- CD------ LB

-------DMC ---DMC-------
Wide ----------------- Wide

-------Striker- Striker-------


Press more
Short passing
Play narrow

One DMC to win the ball on support
The other DMC to pass the ball

Fluid and attacking

See if that works for you

Thank's i will try now, i have save before grande livorno match :)

but, even if it work, do you think this formation have logic? 2 dmc, whithout AMC, or advanced playmaker :/ this is the worst thing in new fm-s, we must use formations that their new match engine likes, we cannot be creative

You will be surprised mate, I have just finished season 1 with Man utd and won everything! Strikers all score a lot!

The wingers play well, even though I had Kagawa left midfield where he isn't totally comfortable, he always plays well still..

The one DM is the deep lying playmaker (Carrick for me) next to ball winner (Fellaini or Jones)

You could use De Rossi ball winner and whoever Roma have that is best for deep lying playmaker :)

Use Totti as a False 9 on the left as striker, and your other striker as Advanced forward :)

Bad news, i did everything mate you say in last reply,even before i read it, De Rossi ball winning, Pjanic deep lying, Totti false 9.. your team instructions.. i am losing now 0:2 on half-time :)

i punched my keyboard don't know now where is my left shift. Thank's for helping, when you have time try with Roma, i just want to see am i stupid, or is it really that hard :)

Haha no problem mate. Give that formation a try :)

Keep in mind that it takes time for a team to get comfortable with a new tactic.

Use whoever out of Strootman and De Rossi is best for each role. Strootman may be better at defending and if he is, use him as the ball winner.

Hope this works out better

By the way, the wide players are wide midfield, NOT AML or AMR

If you prefer, you could probably use Totti as a Trequarista if you don't like a false 9

I was playing till now, again and again and again no logic at all. I beat Inter, Juventus, and lose against Sasulo, again Livorno and Chievo.

Biggest problem here and in 2013, is that through ball's don't exist, only computer playmakers can pass in space for striker. My striker is static, newer open for pass, no matter what instruction i give him.

No hope mate, try it yourself than you will see, maybe Man Utd is easy to manage :S

Unlucky mate, not sure what to suggest then!

My next save is going to be Southampton so it shouldn't be quite as easy as Utd!

Hope you find something that works for you soon
 
I tried like 10 different tactics with Roma and nothing works, I'm going insane! Restarted the game and tried to sign different players and new ways to train in pre season. in 10 games i have 2 like 2 wins 2 draws last game udinese scored 4 goals at half time.

Something i seriously wrong with me or the game! The only good thing is I'm not alone.
 
One of my friends had the same problems then he said things suddenly changed he's still not sure if its anything he changed or just the engine...
Usually if how I want to play doesnt work Il try a different style... I like to play fast football through the middle and just constantly try and make CCCs...

I approached FM completely differently this year Im not happy with Villa in real life and I decided to apply how I think we should play to the game and hey presto it works... I just focus all attacks down the wings and bombard them with crosses works pretty well as I have two big lumps up front.. Its not attractive but its effective...

I downloaded tactic frome one guy, he won all the competitions with Tottenham in first season, Kyle Walker was player of the year 7,86 rating, i put that tactic, lose home from Chievo, Maicon 5,20 rating. Enough.

hi there i'm opening a new thread for my 4-3-3 tactic sometime today it has 3 phases of style all in one - solid defence - possession - attacking in the final third, i think with Roma this could be good tactic for them but you will need very good inside forwards, so keep an eye out mate this could be the tactic your waiting for.
 
Ok thank's i will try your formation. This is first time in for 14 years, how long i play FM that i must download tactic from another player, this game don't have sense anymore for me :(
 
even though i win most my games , i see the problems and issues , with some full backs and striker not playing correctly
