Help to beat my friend (I'm AC Milan, he's Inter)

Hi there,

I playing network with my friend at the moment. He is Inter and I am Milan. We just finished 1st season, he ended 1st with 96 points, and I ended 5th with 74 points.

He received around £ 80mil halfway the season, and have just received around £ 1,1bil, for the new transfer window.

I got a quite good transfer window this year, so I just got Hamsik and Heitinga in hope to improve my team.

Well, please see my below team, and let me know you thoughts:

GK: Abbiatti
DC: Kaladze, Nesta, Sakho and Heitinga
DL/DR: Jankulowski, Zambrotta, Behrami
MC: Hamsik, Flamini, Fernandinho
AMC: Kaka
AML/AMR: Ronaldinho, Mario Santana, Gio dos Santos
ST: Pato, Tomas Necid.

Playing 4-2-3-1, with wingers, Kaka as AMC and Pato up front.

My friend who has Inter, just got some amazing signings, and it's a bit tough to see how I should have a chance in the new season. He's got the following.

GK: Cesar, Asenjo
DC: Chivu, Richards, Zapata, Cordoba
DL/DR: Maxwell, Maicon, Santon, Srna
MC: Toulalan, Stankovic
AML/AMR: Messi, Mancini, Zhirkov
ST: Aguero, Zlatan, Lewandowski, Adriano

He has a few other quality players as well.

I simply need a way of strength my team. I have £50mil left now. I though about getting a very good DR or DL, a nice GK (Adler or Akinfeev) and maybe a better sub for Pato? What would your thoughts be? By the way, I have plenty of good youngers as well, bought Destro from my friends team, and got some good regens as well, but I simply need to get closer to him this year.

After he just got Messi now, it is all looking a bit dark, so I would need to do something.

Also, if any of you have some good Milan tactics, please let me know. I just want to remain Kaka on AMC, as he is playing way better on that position than any other.

I hope that you have some good ideas for some good signings, to replace my starting 11 or my bench. And maybe also some tactic changes :-)

By the way, my bench is not looking too god, lost Seedorf, Gattuso, Pirlo, Shevschenko, Boriello, Senderoos

No, I asked him if I could buy him, but he wornt sell him :-) But yeah indeed that would be a good option. I have played the game much more than my friend, reached 20+ seasons twice in FM2009, and played more than 500 hours in total, so I know a bit more than him about talents etc. f.ex. I got Destro from him, almost for free.

I believe that Necid is very decent, but is he good enough as 2nd choice?
 
Zhirkov, Messi and Aguero are quality siginings lol
U aint got a chance unless you have amazing tactics.
 
In a couple of years I should have. Got better regens, I am better at scouting new regens as well, I still have some money left. Anyhow, if you have any tactic hints, let me know. And yes of course Messi, Aguero and Zhirkov are quality signings, but not very hard when you have £200mil in transfer budget during just over a year..
 
Vagner love? hm, would he be better than Tomas Necid?
 
try marquinos from palmieras he quality good backup for pato definatly

try my wenger style tactic just type in da bhoy into the tactic search and pick my wenger style tactic hope it helps

Ok will try him. any suggestions for other players? My friend already got Marquinhos, but as reserve.
 
Guardado for Dos Santos, cost around 15mil and is unbelievable after like 1 season
Freddy Adu for like 12mil is also unreal. i play him over Messi in my team..hes so consistent
De Ceglie is a great cheap DL
Vagner Love or Hulk up front?

Pato MUST stay in your team. I have him for City and in 2012 now, hes best striker in the world
 
Dude, your team is completely **** compared to his Inter squad.

Get some good forwards in, Vagner Love and Hulk are good recommendations.
 
Well, got stronger MC and AMC imo. Well, what can i expect, he had approx 250mil and I has 120mil, on 14 months. Of course he has better players than me.

guardado just changed to Real Madrid, no chance of getting him now. Ronaldinho has been playing very good, league topscorer last year. Dos santos as well. My problem is GK, DL/DR and a ST reserve.

Vagner love I should be able to get easily. still got 45mil left. Hulk, maybe yeah, he never really succeed for me in earlier games. but alright he is cheap.

De ceglie will be close to impossible to get, as he plays in Juve, doubt that they will sell him. Tried silvestri as well, didnt succeed.

Adu? alright, could try that. Just never thought that he could evolve into a quality player like Pato.

What about tactics? anything you would recommend? I play pretty offensive, with offensive backs, tight marking.

As mentioned I can't get any new non-eu players this year unfortunately, I would have been gone for Vela.
 
buy diego buonanotte, alexis sanchez and marquinhos..they can bolster ur attacking options (AML,AMC,AMR) get Fazio for defenders coz he is strong and got good header. for midfield try veloso or moatinho, camacho..my AC milan never lose to Inter..btw use 4-2-3-1 formation, short passing, high tempo and wide..good luck!
 
Thanks for the help guys.What about a good left defender? Zambrotta is getting old. Tried to get Vargas, but cant. Any ideas? From non italian clubs if possible.
