I am at the start of the 2014/15 with Montpellier with a budget of £25million. Although my squad looks good rather than world class, we have the league twice, 2 French cups and got to the semi's of the Champions League and Europa Cup. Here is my squad (4-2-4):

Jourdren
Bocaly-Mbiwa-Bayal-Izaguirre
Belhanda-Jenssen
Valbuena Ait Fana
N'gog-Giroud
Subs: Lingili,Clyne, El Kaoutari,Stambouli,Nestor,Bedimo,Velosa,Marveaux,Andy Polo,Ababio (regen next M Owen) and Sanago (loan from Man City)

I am also bringing in Niang,Nangis,Cristeg all on free transfers, as well as Vadillo (£2.6m) as well as a promising youngster who is returning from a successful loan spell with Blackburn.

So I need some advice on some signings, £25million budget?

Look in the Russian League and Shahktar Donetsk if you want to play a fast tempo game. Willian is always my favourite player, but he may just have moved club as he has done at the start of 2014 (or earlier) on all of my saves. Raphael Calvet from Auxerre is the best defender in my Lyon save, season 2016-17

its a pretty nice squad, look for some regens or douglas costa, christian eriksen to replace valbuena. maybe ter stegen in goal. inigo martinez or rakitskyi in defence perhaps... also kurt zouma should be about coming of age by then.

Khedira is available for £1million, should I sign him? But it may stunt the development of Cristeg and the youngster that has just returned from his loan spell with Blackburn.

sign him if you can afford his wages, he will be a great tutor to Lorenzo and you can sell Sami for a lot more than that after a year if you want to :)
