every November, view - contracts and see whose contracts run out that year.. choose who you want to re-sign or release as sometimes the assistant does not do it and you lose a good player.. also, if done personally you can save a lot of cash as the assistant manager would just offer exaclty what the player wanted.. you can offer them a lower increase in wages for the next 5 years by giving them an extra £1m bonus for signing or something and save cash in the long run.
