Help with counter attacking

i am having trouble making a solid counter attacking tactic so if anyone could help with the best formation to suit it, the key fundamentals to a good counter attacking tactic it would be greatly appreciated please and thank you

use the aryschmetic formation i am liverpool too and have used it in big away games e.g chelsea away which i won 3-1 man yoo away i won 1-0 twice once in the champs lge and the prem and real madrid away and inter milan away which i both won 3-2 in madrid and 2-1 in milan use lucas or alberto aquilani to sit in front of the back four as a support deep lying playmaker then use mascherano in the centre as a defensive ball winning midfielder and use kuyt as a defensive winger on the right and riera or aurellio as a defensive winger as they are both good at crossing then use gerrard as a support attacking midfielder and use torres as a target man
you may need torres as he scored in all of those games including a hat trick in a 3-1 away win against chelsea. so good luck if it doesnt work you know who to blame
