Can the tactical gurus help me with creating a False 9 for my Arsenal Team. I am playing a 4-3-3/451 formation with a destroyer/passer/creator combination in midfield. Song is my destroyer - anchor man - defend, Fabregas my passer - deep lying playmaker support - support and Wilshere my creator central midfielder - attack.

Below are the possible roles I think might work for False 9 but I would like some help in this area.

Complete Forward - Support
Mentality - Defensive (2 clicks into defensive)
Passing mixed (middle of slider)
Creative Freedom - Much 17 clicks
Run from Deep - Often
Run With ball - Often
Long Shots - Rarely
Through ball - Often
Wide Play - Move into Channels

Deep Lying Forward - Support
Mentality - Normal 8 notches on Slider
Passing - Mixed
Creative Freedom - Much 17
Run From Deep Often
Run with ball - Often
Long Shots - Rarely
Through balls - Often
Wide - Play Move into Channels

Trequartista - I am not sure about this role for a False 9. The Trequartista seems to drift around looking for pockets of space so that they can play through balls to Inside Forwards and midfielders making runs from deep. But it seems that the Trequatista does not score enough goals. Can anyone help me in this area.

Treqartista - Attack
Mentality - Normal or defensive (so that he can link up with the midfield)
Passing - Mixed
Creative Freedom - Much - 20
Run from Deep - Often
Run with ball -Often
Long Shots - Rarely
Through Balls - Often
Wide Play - Move into Channels

Robin Van Persie is the striker in my system, but he gets injured quite often and that leaves me with Chamakh and Bedneter as my other strikers. I am not sure about these players playing the False 9 role because they seem to be more Target Man type players. I just wanted to know if it is possible to get these players to play like False 9's

Just like written above. These links Will provide you with some good reading. Just remember the most important part, that the settongs you give him in terms of mentality. T-balls and runs only give his starting position sms how to act whn getting the ball, whilst the ppm comes deep to get ball os the crucial part. If he does not do this. He wont act from the correcr position

what would you suggest for his mentality. I was thinking of giving the False 9 a defensive mentality so that he links up with the midfield. Also would you change is Run from Deep to sometimes. Do you think I should make any changes regarding my tactical instructions for complete forward, deep lying forward and trequartista.

Nobody ever talks about Berbatov as a false 9 but I think he was to some extent, especially at Spurs and Keane was a sort of false 10 getting on the end of a lot of Berby's service.

If we re-signed him Berby and VDV could be a great false 9/10 partnership.

I am trying to create this; my idea was to set the 9 to defensive mentality so he goes deep and the 10 to very attacking to he gets in the box. Then my idea was to base the 9 on an advanced playmaker which he is in a way, so I copied many of the values in the detailed role editing thingy, then I based the 10 on an advanced forward; I will see how it goes.

The thing is there are different types of false 9s, I'm going more for a Berbatov, possibly even Gudjohnsen in some games but people talk more about Tevez and Rooney who make more runs from deep. The false 10 is more uniformed; Sneijder in the WC was the epitome really and there were also Honda and Ozil.
