Help with defensive line

Hi to everyone.I'm having trouble with my 2 central defenders.I've got my tactic right it's just the 2 of them that can't get right.so the questions are.wot is better? Central Defender,ballplaying or limited? 2nd question wots is best. Defend,stopper or cover? 3rd question man mark or zonal? And the final question man marking or zonal? Thank for ur time Reading this and ur answers would help me a great deal and would be very greatful.thanks again.

Its all personal prefrence.I prefer Zonal marking, 2 CBs on defend.

I play 1 as a standard DC, Defend, Zonal Mark, and one as a Stopper, Zonal Mark. It all depends on who the defenders are, and what style you play.

Same as JP both my cbs are on Zonal marking and both set to defend, Seems to work fine always gonna be a few mess ups.

Altho i have noticed an increase in 10.3 either of my Cb's having a shocking game 5.5ish ratings but i just drag them off at half time.

Also have a ganders at you scouting for your next opponent it will soemtimes give you tips on what defensive line to play. For example Aston Villa normally struggle if i play a deep line to stop that toe rag Agbonlahor from destroying me

I'm playing a deep 4-2-3-1 with barca and my CBS are puyol & piqué but I've noticed that one of there strickers are alwaying hanging around the edge of box between my 2 cb and is always free to latch on to a through ball and it's getting on my nerves!! I've even got a anchor man to help out but no use.

I usually have my back line as man mark and the rest zonal

I use Zonal marking:
The players on a more cautious, in relation to the average team mentality are set to tight( My DCs, MCd and AMC or FCd)
The players on average mentality and higher are set to loose( my FBs, wingers, MCa and FC)

Because I'm playing 4-2-3-1 with my wingers being inside forwards I want my fullbacks to be pushing up supporting attack and also putting crosses in but the problem is that once I loose the ball I find the other team punting the ball forward on the wings where the stricker chases after it streching my cbs always leaving 1 cb in the middle due to the fact my fullbacks helping attact.so I was wondering if someone could help me out or post the fullbacks instrutions with good defending but also helps out attack.thank u very much for those who posted yesterday

I prefer, Limited Defenders with defending duty. Both man marking but now I am preferring one man marking and one zonal marking.
