Help with FM2010 Patch 10.3.0

Hello all, wondered if anyone out there could help me...

I have just downloaded the 10.3.0 patch manually and now have the file sitting on my desktop. Does anyone know where I need to drop this file into so that I can start using the update on the game? At the moment I dont have a clue, so your help would be much appreciated.

dont drop the file anywhere. just add a .exe extension to the file and then run it. it should work properly
