Help with free agents

I have just started a season with Nottigham Forest in the Championship, so far i have signed a LB (Alonso) on loan to fill in the LB gao. But i am now struggling to find any suitable signings to improve the rest of the squad. I attempted to find a free agent but when i changed the search criteria to free agents on my large database thousands of them turned up. I attempted to change the search criteria to filter only the suitable ones but couldnt manage it. Am i really expected to traul through all of these free agents sxouting the ones who may be suitable?Any help on this subje would be great.... Thanks
