Help with making custom kits

I have downloaded a kit template that allows me to make custom kits but... I need photoshop and am on windows, is there a way to make custom kits and possibly logos without photoshop because I am not willing to buy or download it. I am using Windows Vista btw.

Yeah Gimp is pretty good - no where near as good as the real thing though. I have not used that other one though.

For a short term solution you could download the Photoshop trial version.

Change the other colours

please can you post a direct link to where you got the gimp application. I downloaded something but it was not an application it was an update, I think!

All I need to know how to do is :

To change the colours, you choose the layer you want to change and go to layer > layer style > color overlay

Primary colour, do the same but the layer you choose is called 'base' right at the bottom.

Sponsor and logos is just a copy & paste job.

I learnt how to make kits from this
