Help with patch!!!

I am trying to use the new patch, I have downloaded and saved it in the 'db' folder but when I start a new game I don;t have the choice to change it...it stays on version 11.0

Someone please help as this is doing my head in!

there is no chage to the data. if you searched for the patch threads you would know this

I have searched, must have missed it...thanks.

I think I have saved the download in the wrong place as the game hasn't updated. Basically something isn't right and I don't know how to resolve it. Would really appreciate a helping hand...

You don't have to save it anywhere. Just go to the file and run it by simply double-clicking on it.
