Hi, I'm looking for a other people's opinions on this. I'm struggling to choose between keeping a striker or selling him and buying a certain new striker to replace him at Man Utd. I've thought about it for ages but I can't seem to make my mind up and I'd appreciate if anyone could give their opinion.

Here are what I believe are the key benefits/drawbacks for each striker.

Striker 1('Andrea de Carlo' already at the club
Reasons to keep:

  1. Better Stats
  2. Slightly lower wage
  3. Manageable personality
  4. Fits in team
  5. Happy to be on bench
  6. Trained in Nation HG status
Reasons to sell:

  1. Getting older (30 yrs value + ability will decline)
  2. Form last season worse than last few
  3. Can sell for decent £32 million
Striker 2('Fernando' at Real Madrid)
Reasons to buy:
  1. Good if not quite as good stats (imo)
  2. £14million release clause at Real
  3. Younger by 5 years
  4. Average rating of 8.00 in La Liga last season
Reasons not to buy:
  1. Higher wage demands
  2. Less likeable personality (I have problems with quite a few Brazilians as well for some reason :(
  3. Already have loads of Brazilians in the team, I know it's not a problem but I like having a mix. Atm I'm worried it's just becoming Brazilians, Argentinians and English
Here's the striker I have

Thanks For your help^^)

Do it.

Fernando looks as if he could be become even better than Di Carlo. And 14m is cheap as chips for that sort of talent, coupled with the fact he will be coming into his prime, rather than Di Carlo who is leaving it. Especially if you can get £32m for him.

I too would also do it, Fernando looks amazing and younger and you could get him for less than half you sell di carlo for, so you can buy someone else who isnt Argentine, Brazillian or English.

i agree. think yoo should buy fernando and sell the old guy.. a striker at 30 hasnt got that much long left in his prime

OK thanks, done and dusted. Maybe I was just a bit unwilling to let my star go :'(

No worries, and on the bright side you have a new star. Good Luck.
