Help with surround sound

Ive just bought a 5.1 surround sound ive connected all the leads from the speakers in the correct colour coded sockets, but where do i plug the other 3 input leads to the pc? they are plugged in to the input section on the woofer coloured red and white and off them leads is a yellow green and black lead, but i don't have them coloured sockets on my laptop

The cable is meant for a TV. I'm not sure if there is a converter cable so you might be able to connect it to the laptop.

if i put one lead in the headphones socket on my laptop it plays, but only the lead that i put in plays e.g if i put the front input from the sub to the laptop it only plays the front speakers.
