I decided to go to Tottenham for my first full game as a manager on FM 2009 on the 9.3 update. Since they had no money it seemed like a challenge. Anyway, after a disastrous start (1-0, 3-2, 4-1 and 4-0 losses) we started to pick up a little, and I've just entered the January transfer window in 5th place, 2 points off 3rd. This is my squad right now:
I think my main area of improvement needs to be in defence. King seems prone to injury and Woodgate/Corluka seem to be a little shaky at the back sometimes. I think a new striker may be in need also.
Anyone got any advice on who I should sell & sign? I have a budget of just £10.5mil at the moment.
