Good morning
I was hoping that one of the tactical gurus on this forum can help me with adjusting creative freedom for my players. I read a post that suggested that the best way to understand how to adjust creative freedom, was to make an average for each player of these attributes : Creativity, Flair, Decision, concentration, Composure and that should be give you an idea of how to adjust creative freedom for each player.
So with that in mind I started my calculations with two players Gael Clichy and Jack Wilshere
Clichy
Creativity - 12
Flair - 10
Decision - 15
Concertration - 10
Composure - 13
so I added up all the numbers for Clichy 60 dived by 5 = 12. So by doing it this way Clichy should have is creative freedom on the slider moved to 12
I also did the same with Thomas Vermalean and Laurent Kolcieny and they came back with between 10 and 11 for creative freedom on the slider
Did the same of Wilshere and his creative freedom is 14 on the slider
After reading many post on the forums most of the people recommend that your defenders should not have high creative freedom but should be set to between 7 - 8 on the slider
Could someone please help me with this area because now I am totally confused on how to distrubute creative freedom correctly
In my team intructions I have set the creative freedom to default and turned of the more roam option. I am going to be playing a very fluid and control strategy in order to keep possesion better. Most of team will have short pasing between 6 and 7 However I will give Fabregas mixed passing.

defenders should have very little creative freedom (you want them to defend, not attack and try something fancy and lose possession on the edge of the box)

I have all my players set to manual settings of creative freedom, dont overdo the amount of creative freedom you use as it will become ineffective in the end... I pretty much only have at most 3 players with above average creative freedom!

the CM or AMC and ST and maybe one AMR/L

If my player has creative freedom of 10 (I have the slide exactly on half way) etc.. this is only for my mids onwards.... and so on and so forth

Haha, reminds me when I making a random formation that make players can do what they want, I give them all full creative freedom, and i beat Barcelona 2-1 with Arsenal on Camp Nou, but it waste stamina

Thanks Raikan

I am playing with Arsenal and have a number of players with good stats for creativity and flair i.e Nasri, Wilshere, Fabregas, Rosicky, Eden Hazard and Van Persie. The problem is I do not know how to distribute the Creative Freedom. I kind of made up mind by giving Fabregas much creative freedom because he will be the my advance playmaker in the 4231 formation but what do I do with Jack Wilsere, Nasri, Arshavin, Rosicky and Van Persie because they also have good stats for creative freedom. Do you recommend that I put there creative freedom to 10 on the slider. I am also going to have a look Alex Song because he will be playing as a ball winning midfielder defend smo might set is creative freedom to little so he keeps it simple - what do you think

exactly that mate :) Song just needs to get the ball to Fabregas as quickly and simply as possible...

Arsenal do have a lot of creative players, if you want your players not sticking to your game plan too much, set it to Expressive but set your Fb's and Cb's to little and of course Song to little as well...

the rest of the players will have their creative freedom set to default for their roles and that should be sufficient... As I said, I don't use it like that, most of the time its set as default and manually :)
