Help with Wigan :)

Hi guys,

Hope you are all enjoying your games, but at the moment i'm not.

I'm managing Wigan and in November of the first season. I'm in 17th and struggling to get wins. The only wins i've had are a 4-3 stoppage time win over Fulham and a lucky 1-0 win over Everton.

I seem to be missing so many chances! My strikers are getting through on goal but ALWAYS put it over the bar or straight into the keeper.

I have only signed Kadlec, and he is very erratic. Sometimes great, other times very poor.

What tactics should I be using, what formations, what roles etc? At the moment I'm using the "GoalsGalore" tactic.

Please, please help!

first question are you playing kadlec as a first team striker?

rodellega and that boselli looks beastly!

it could be a pure stat problem... you are creating chances, thats 90% of the hardship!

how are the players relationships with you? morale?

train your strikers to improve them?

make your strikers personal training focus on finishing?

just have a private chat with your strikers and ask em to place the ball in the corner of the net

And also try talking to your strikers, express your dissapointed with recent form, tell them to aim for corners etc etc- Worked for me, on a striker who couldn't score, after he was banging them in (H)

Not to be mean, but Wigan is currently at the bottom of my league table, managing only 4 Wins after 31 Games.

Try getting a Attacking Mid as (Tresq) as I noticed from my feedbacks from AssMan that in most formation without Attmids, the forwards tend to get out numbered (only in EPL), while I do not face this problem in LaLiga managing Valencia.
