Not much you can do except be patient...if any other programs are running in the background, close them all. Especially if they are anti-virus scans and stuff..that can slow things down considerably.
i phoned sega a few months ago when i bought it originally and i had same problem. they talked me through something about deleting a file or folder somewhere. it worked but now sega helpline does not work.
