So, you are saying that you want the icons to say what they are so you know which is what? First off, it is a good idea to memorize the symbols. It gets easy after a while, and after playing the game for a bit, you will have it all down. Put the cursor over the icon and the name of what it is will pop up. But as for it showing the names under it, idk if it does that anymore, mine doesn't. But, if may be because of your display. It may be cutting the names out to fit everything on the screen. Are you in window mode? That might be it. Are you using a custom skin? Most skins that I have seen and used take the names out and just expect everyone to memorize what the icons are. They are all very self explanatory anyways.
