Hello!
This is my first thread here on FM-Base - take it easy on me XD.

So, recently I have been driving myself mad trying to emulate the Barcelona tactics/formation. I know there are a lot of tactics and threads on this, but seriously none are effective as they make out.

Why the post?
I'm looking for a tactic that simply dominates the possession, with a bench mark of around 70% on average. I don't care about literally copying every detail of the modern Barcelona, just simply want a possession tactic that uses the 4-5-1 that Barcelona use.

I have tried, read, downloaded every article on the internet and can't find anything worth while. I have used a wide range of the different team/player instructions and to be honest I'm starting to go slightly nuts!

Please help?!
Thank you in advance.

Just to add...

A long time ago (November) I made my own tactic that had around 75% against Real Madrid.

So it is possible...

Firtsly, if wanting to emualte the exact same football that barca aply, then it is not possible since the closing down system in FM does not function as in real life. This means that the players will not get the ball back just as high up in the field and...that the opposition will close down differetly to, meaning that we will not hold possession in such a advanced positions as they do irl.
With this said, the following writtings from me will be with the assumption that close enough is good enough

A Question: Is this appraoch going to suit a range of teams/players ( not possible) or just a club of Barcelonas statur along with the kind of players they have in rel life ( very posible although its not only down to the tactics) ?
