Today at school my mate said that if he downloaded the game onto his pc so that it required no disk and took the game to gamestation (cash exchange) what would happen.I thought that gamestation would check the serial code and cancel it but can anyone confirm?

that is what you call cheating on Sports Interactive. They'll ban the dude and cancel your code

I thought shops were quite strict on PC Game returns. The last time I bought FM (2006 maybe) was from GAME and they said they don't allow returns on PC games.

Shops dont even let you return pc games, not even pre-own. i think your friends telling fibs about the return part...
