:D:D

Okay so i just bought this game, so never before have i played anything as difficult but exciting. i tried it for a couple of hours as i wasnt too sure cos of the fact that you cant play the matches. (too much fifa series for my own good)lol...so now i have deleted the game i saved and i want to start my "career" proper but with the help of you guys. i got a few questions and would appreciate all ur suggestions.

1. I want to start from somewhere like the championships and work my way up, so what team should i start with.

2. Best tactics and formations for the team.

3. any managerial tips.

4. potential signings.

5. and any general help.

thanks all in advance.

:D

1. If you haven't played before I would suggest actually playing as at the very least a mid-table Prem team because with Championship teams or lower table Prem teams you will struggle against everybody, especially if you get promoted up.

2. The best tactic for someone with little to no experience is the basic 4-4-2. Some people might tell you to download tactics which will increase your chances of winning games at the start, but if your always playing downloaded tactics you'll never learn how to create them yourself and it takes the fun out of FM because that's what it's all about!

3. Managerial tips hmm...Use your friendlies wisely, when your more experienced and know what your doing you can skip friendlies and just let your Assistant Manager take control of them and you just see the result after the game, but to test your tactics and your new signings out you need to play friendlies like your playing a cup final if your new to the game. And dont forget you have unlimited subs so try and test peoples strenghts.

4. Take a look at this http://www.fm-base.co.uk/players.php for potential signings and http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/f60/ which is where everybody talks about players theyre going to buy or have bought, it gives you a better idea, and if you want to ask about a player, use the search function first to see if anybody has asked the same question as you before, but if not, ask away.

5. Good luck :D

1. Since you just started playing it be someone like birmingham/Reading they both have good squads and can easily get promoted without breaking a sweat to get you started.

2. I wouldnt recommend you download someone else's tactics because it doesnt alwasy guarentee success becuase it really depends on what players you have, try create you own if it doesnt work then keep trying.

3. Be patient when results aint coming you need to let your team gel together and gel to your tactics/formation.

4. Just search the forums for players

5. Be precise when signing dont go overboard and sign players way over value, dont sign too many players keep it lower than 4 so you dont lower morale and etc, DONT go into dept with a lower league team it could make your job as manager unstable.

and welcome to the forums if your new to the site:)

Nice to see that you Bought the Game and didnt download it (Piracy) Wise..
Tips..
Choose either for the championship
Reading,Wolves,Birmingham,Burnley
And if you're not Burnley I would sign Chris Eagles,Michael Paterson,Clarke Carlilse (All burnley Players)
There my TiPs
