Hide Transfer?

Hey, is there anyway to hide transfers? Im playing with two friends and im getting a real good player for a bargain price that they dont know of, but i know one of them will want this player as soon as he sees im getting him, is there anyway for it to avoid media etc?

Some players transfer news gets leaked, nothing you can do about that. As for the human players you're playing with, if they're subscribed to your club they would receive the news about it, just keep an eye on it and if they make an offer after you then up your previous offer so he comes to you instead.

I've had exactly the same problem before, I got round it by making lots of random bids on random players(never offering a contract). You will confuse them and get some bargains in the process, not the best for morale for the players who play in those positions though. Hope it helped
