I'm being bullied into offering Jack Rodwell £140.000 a week hes only 20 and hes just been earning around 30k a week at Everton. I'm already paying a £18 million price tag for him

His agent is demanding a £5.7 million signing on fee and a Agent fee of £4.5 million

I cant do anything to change it, everytime I change it, his ******* agent Jonathan Currie keeps putting it back to wages like I'm signing Messi or something!

This is ridiclous - why should I dish out hefty fees?? any way to make him lower it? I've tried nearly everything to get him to agree £90.000 a week but even then I think thats too much to offer at a early age of 20...imagine in 4 years, be asking for £260.000 a week!!

Who are you? What's your position in the league/what year are you in etc etc.

Are you Man City by any chance?
It appears if you have players that are earning high amounts like at Man City, players coming in think they'll get high wages aswell.

You could try signing someone is is similar in ability and won't demand such huge fees. Or young players that have the potential to be as good as him

I'm Tottenham and I'm in the summer transfer window right now I'm in Aug 2012

I finished 2nd in the previous season...If I was Man City I would pay it! I bet they got a transfer budget of £300 million lol!

It's REALLY annoying me!! His agent is such a ****!

Advice anyone??????????

omg...now the **** is asking for £200.000 - everytime the contract talks breakdown, the asking wage price goes up by 30k???!!

bring him down to a first team player and maybe the money asked for will also go down, it worked for me with Terry Almalcat

When I remove him from Key Player to first team. I click to offer and it brings it back to £100k+ a week wages and still demanding £5 mil signing on and £5 mil agent fee.

I thought Man City players were greedy, these lot are acting like I'm signing Messi. I actually would rather try sign Messi...even though I know I cant, but I'd rather keep it and try my luck lol

OK - Just to add - anybody know anybody good that is like Jack Rodwell? I cant obviously afford to spend nearly all my budget on 1 player incase I get a bad injury. This **** agent has ****** me off!

Need a good ball player to play in the midfield who can take control of matches

Sod that, play Huddlestone there and buy Pastore/Henrique.

Your best option might be to just give up on this gold digger.
