High Line - How to stop the AVB curse?

I am conceding nearly all of my goals by balls played through or over the defense and I can't seem to stop it. I have tried to play with a deeper line using the team instruction but my players still push up. I have also got 2 quick CB's and have tried setting them up to 'Cover' but that didn't really work either.

I have also tried an Anchorman with 2 CM's to swamp the midfield and stop the balls being played through but this doesn't seem to work either. The only thing that worked was to play the two CM's and Anchor and also play with a Sweeper but then I suffered severely going forward and I want to play more attacking-possession orientated but just get done on the counter with balls through.

Any way of stopping this without hampering my attacking team?

Lower your D-line and change them to normal CBs. Change your anchor to HB.

either use a HB or sweeper defender, tick the "use offside trap" and use a sweeper keeper on defend or support duties.
