I just sold Verratti to Man City in my save for 135M€ (98M cash + 37M splitted on twelve months).
It was a harsh decision but Rabiot and Adli were promising enough to recover the midfield lead.

I wonder what is your record sale fees for a player in FM17 or even in older version ?

Sold Coutinho to PSG start of second season for €126m with a €35m add on, they can came in for Emre Can for €75m up front which was crazy money.

Same case in my save game. Man City asks PSG to sell Verratti with the price at 88M pound but the personal negotiation failed. Maybe they will come back with such more amazing offer for him next few days.
