Ho do you extract files?

OK guys this has been a really annoying problem for me as,basically I can't extract files for my mac.
I saw another thread on this but all the suggestions were for windows.Anyway,I really want to put Hermanchides's Kits on my game but when I try it comes up with this:View attachment 229853
Please Help!(and remember your suggestion has to be for compatible with a mac)

I use jZip that is brilliant it does everything and trusty too http://www.jzip.com use it.
