Home-grown status

Does anyone know why some players become Trained in nation/club (0-21) while others are Trained in nation/club (15-21)?

All my young players gaining status seem to gain (0-21). This is causing me problems as (0-21) player don't count as any of your 8 home-grown players needed in the champions league, they only count in the premier league.

I've looked around and the same thing seems to be happening at all other clubs as well.

Any ideas?
 
You can put your players from your reserves that is home grown in the list.
 
Yes, that's what I've done to register the squad but in the future if all my young players gain:

Trained at club (0-21)

instead of

Trained at club (15-21)

then they won't count as home grown for champions league registration. This means i will have to submit a squad of 17 rather than 25 (leaving 8 spaces so the game lets me continue).

Just wondered if anyone knows how to develop players to specifically "Trained in nation/club (15-21)"?
 
just put all your 1st team players in for registration and providing its less than 25 you wont need full quota of HG players
 
That's what I've done but i would want the players who i have trained up and are now over 21, (so cannot be played without registration) to be able to be registered as a HG players
 
I have the same problem, posted in another thread. So far there`s no solution to that problem.

Please, can anybody give us some advice?

P.S.

I`ve just registered my squad for CL and a GK of mine, who is a product of the team, hasn`t played away even on loan, and is 22 wasn`t counted as home-grown. WHY???

Ugh this is annoying, I can't progress. I only have 5 players eligible to count as home grown. I have a ton of other players that should count but they have this (0-21) problem. What is causing this!?
 
try my solution, but it just make us past the regristation. when we must repond squad regristation and we have the problem with HGs,,,just go on holiday to pass the problem. but when it happen, we'll have another problem, maybe some players that we want to play will be inegible.
 
if i send a player out on loan, does he not get home grown? and is this rule just been added to one of the updates or has it always been there?
