Hi Guys, this is my first ever story so bare with me.

Hong Kong FA Announce 'Unknown' Englishman as New National Team Coach

A press conference was called today at the Headquarters of the Hong Kong FA to announce their new manager Kirrien Wilson.
Chairman of the FA, Xu Yeung said; 'I am delighted to welcome and present Kirrien Wilson as the new National Team coach today.'
Kirrien Wilson then said; ' I am delighted to be here and i am personally looking forward to bringing success here and making Hong Kong a force to be reckoned with.'

Kirrien is virtually unknown on the professional circuit, Having only played for a coached Ashford United, who play in the Kent Premier Divison, in England.

Very interesting, I've visited Hong Kong a few times and it's a good place. I'll keep an eye.

I'm intrigued as to how this'll play out... I'll definitely be following.

Ok so first game didnt go to plan:

Hong Kong (China PR) 0 - 6 Japan

This means that i finished bottom of my World Cup Quals Group but it means i can now focus on building up a team that will be a force to be reckoned with.

are you going to play as any hong kong clubs? Will help you tremendously

i tried that on fm2012
the poor standard of facilities and useless backroom staff of hk teams drove me crazy!!!
good luck

completely replaced my coaching staff now south China and Hong Kong have the same

90% of my national team starters are my club starters

just need them playing as a unit

Asian Confederation Cup results

Hong Kong 0 - 1 Guam
Hong Kong 0 - 6 Palestine
Hong Kong 1 - 0 Macau

we controlled the Guam game but scored a very late own goal on 92 mins

we were shocking against Palestine

we controlled the game from beginning ti end against Macau

IN ALL TO BAD MY PLAYERS DINT KNOW WHERE THE GOAL IS HAHA

after writing the comment above this happen:
Hong Kong 3 - 4 Chinese Taipei

we were 3-0 down on 70 minutes for us to be drawing 3-3 after 85 minutes then to lose through a 90 minute own goal

now we need to learn to defend haha

Will be following mate! Any chance of a screenie of who you would consider your top player? Just so get the jist of what calibre of players your playing with

yeah sure mate on my phone atm
I will put up a screen shot of my best player when I do my next up date

September 2012 Update

Sunday 2nd September 2012 (Hong Kong First Division)
South China 0 - 1 Kitchee
-All in all it was a close game, they scored in the 10th minute from the penalty spot.
-Its also the only game my keeper has conceeded in haha.
Friday 7th September 2012 (International Friendly)
Hong Kong 1 - 1 Sao Tome & Principle
- First game i actually saw a team that wanted to play football.
- Good Possession, Good Tackling, Good Passing, but shooting wasnt that good but much inmproved.
- Good result against a team that ranks 21 places above us.
(Goal Scorer (HK): Julius Akoash)
Tuesday 11th September 2012 (International Friendly)
Hong Kong 0 - 1 Syria
- Although we lost we were great at getting forward and holding Syria back until an 85th Minute own goal.
- Syria are ranked above us in the World Rankings
Saturday 15th September 2012 (Hong Kong First Division)
South China 0 - 0 Sun Pegasus
- Boring game had a penalty desicion turned down
- only real chance came late in the game and it was a offside goal.
Tuesday 25th September 2012 (Hong Kong First Division)
South China 1 - 0 Rangers (HK)
- Leandro scored 35 yard goal, his first for South China, on 25 mintues.
- We attacked hard throughout but our finishing needs working on.
Saturday 29th September 2012 (Hong Kong First Division)
South China 1 - 0 Sun Hei
- Good Solid attacking, Had a few defensive scares but my keeper was solid. (I swear without this keeper i would have lost this game)
- Godfred Scored winner in the 88th Minute.

Hong Kong Analysis
Hong Kong is getting there as you can see the teams we have played are all ranked higher than me and we contained them to 1 goal. Finishing is still an issue but the defensive problems we had against Japan (Which we lost 6-0) seem to have gone.

South China Analysis
Slow and Steady like me and we are getting there just need to work on the finishing. But as you can see 1 goal conceeded in my first 4 league games so we are ok with the keeper.

October 2012 Update
October has been a slow month for us with only 2 games played (and one was international friendly)

Hong Kong 1 vs 3 Iraq
Unfortunately for us Iraq's defence was simply faultless everything we threw at them they countered us.
They scored 3 in the first 10 minutes.
But after that we controlled and dominated possession and scored on 88 mintues.

South China 4 vs 0 Tai Po
What a game Controlled the whole match.
Hat-Trick from Leandro and a debut goal from Ticao
