How can I appoint 2 assistant managers?

I have had 2 assistant managers at the same time on previous versions of the game but I have not found how to do it on FM 2011. On previous versions it depended on clup popularity and reputation to some extent. Here I have not found the possibility to ask the board and it would cancel all my attempts to transfer a second *** manager.

You cant do it now. Some clubs in older veersions had 2 assistants eg. Real Madrid but i have never seen it happen in fm 10 or 11.

some Brazillian clubs (South American) clubs allow two Assistant Managers.. not one of the European teams I have managed allow two

basically it'll help if one of them is willing to join your club in a different post at the start...once they have joined..and when you can offer them a new contract..you can change their post to assistant manager...this way you can have more than one of them..it worked in europe for me..like recently i changed zidane from a scout to an AM at Southampton, and my existing AM was still there

Sweden had two managers at WC 2002 let alone two assistants. As for assistants, well, Porto have 3 IRL and in the game.
