I'm currently Newcastle Utd and i'm just about to start my third season,

I bought David Santon last year for 1.9 mill and a year later my Chairman is accepting 2.4 mill from Liverpool because it's to good of an offer but i don't want to sell him, any way of being able to stop that??

thanks

they only sell them from under you if you need the cash so just make sure you have a healthy bank balance. im boro atm and my balance is like 50m and i pick and choose any offers no matter how large but if my accounts were **** then my board couldnt turn down 15m bids

so just be careful and prudent

maybe try and set minimum fee release clauses in the contracts? although i guess that only measn that and offer of 'x' or above must be accepted and the board could still sell from underneath you. sort the debts out and there will be no problemos

If your board's interference is high, it makes no difference how much money you have in the bank, they just look at what the player is worth and compare that to the offer you've recieved, if they're gonna make a profit, then it's accepted!!!

The only way I have found to reduce the amount of bids accepted, is to set players squad status to at least 1st Team Player and also set a ridiculous asking price, after that when a bid comes in, 9 times outta 10 keep their noses out and let you decide to accept or reject, but as for stopping it all together, tis not possible!

setting high asking prices and changing your players role to 'key player' and offering him a new contract usually helps

Offering the player a new contract, he'll have to decide between the new team and you, and if you offer him something worth taking then he'll end up staying.

But aye, your board will keep their noses out aslong as you make out your players are priceless to your team!
