Hey,

I took the Yeovil Town job after resigning from Man Utd (it was getting boring, way too much happening and unrealistic results.)

They were on a 24 game streak without winning and I lost the last 4 games of the season (I took over in April) so they went down.

The bookies say I'm favourite to win the league however I've lost most of my players and have a squad of currently just 11. I'm in pre-season and would really appreciate some help on rebuilding this team.

I welcome all player suggestions, tactics etc.

Thanks.

How do I get promoted?

By either:

Winning the league.
Finishing in an automatic promotion spot.
OR Winning the play offs.

Hope this helps.

Try buying players that are free transfers from the bigger clubs, that get release on the 30th of June in the game.

Get loans from the higher league clubs. There are loads of top players you can get that will fill out your squad, and you won't have the wages.

Use 'Arry Redknapp's 'triffic FOUR 4 TOO and 'OOF IT up to Crouchie!

Seriously, though. What year are you in? If you're far enough in, you might be able to get some big-ish players (compared to Yeovil at least - established PL players) on free contracts after their legs have gone. Otherwise loan out the best youngsters from the best teams. For example you could pinch a load of Man Utd youngsters since they might have you listed among their favoured personnel)

If you're not making your own tactics, I strongly recommend you use this: 'Ultimate LLM' 4-5-1 - Unbelievable Jeff FM2011 Community

I'll have another look.

I've tried that but most do not want to come, I've been able to get a few reserve players at best.

I'm in July 2011. I have taken a few Man Utd youngsters. I'll try that tactic, I've also downloaded the 'Park the Plane' tactic and 'JP Woody's high scoring' tactic. What are your thoughts on these?
