How do i play in FA Cup?

Can someone please help?
I Created a new club, chairman, stadium, etc...I put this new club into the Blue Square North.

Everything was working find until i found out i cant play in the FA cup! I thought this was maybe just the 1st season so finished that and started second season but same thing...No FA Cup!

I dont know if this is just a problem with the FA Cup or is it with the League Cup or even Europe but it'll take me a few seasons to find this out! Although i can play in the FA Trophy but thats not as appealing as the FA Cup!

Have i done something wrong or not done something i should have done?

Please help!

What did you set as the year you were founded ? I think a club needs to be at least 3 years old before it can compete in the FA Cup.

Correct. Any team older than 2007 can compete.
